John Cherian from Dubai has joined Continental Group International as Chief Technology Officer. The group operates in the insurance and financial services industry and is based in the United Arab Emirates.

As the organization’s new technical director, Cherian will be responsible for using new technologies to improve the customer experience. He will focus on adding value to the digital transformation journey the company has been undertaking for two decades.

Prior to joining Continental Group International, Cherian worked with Honeywell as Director of IT and Business Partner at Honeywell Building Solutions-Europe and META. As Global IT Director, he worked for Philips for 8 years, leaving the company as IT Director and IT Director for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa. During his 19 years of experience, he has worked with several global companies, including NetApp, Ocwen Financial Solutions, and others. Cherian graduated from IIM-Calcutta and Columbia Business School.
