Dabur India Limited has announced the strategic appointment of Ashish Pandey as its new Global Chief Information Officer (CIO). Pandey, a veteran in the technology and digital domain, carries a rich professional history spanning over 17 years across various geographies including India, the United States, and Europe. He has previously held key positions in numerous Fortune companies.

In his last role, Ashish Pandey served as the Digital & Technology Leader for the India Subcontinent at GSK Consumer Healthcare India. His tenure at GSK, extending over six years and five months, was marked by significant achievements. Pandey is celebrated for his goal-driven methods and has showcased his prowess across multiple functional areas such as sales and distribution, supply chain management, marketing technology, e-commerce, and digital strategies, alongside data and analytics.

Pandey’s experience is extensive and varied, encompassing leadership in high-impact tech initiatives across sales and distribution, distributor management systems, supply chain management, go-to-market strategies, marketing technology, UI/UX design, human capital management, e-commerce, and digital innovations. His industry experience spans a diverse array including consumer healthcare, FMCG (CPG), manufacturing, travel, logistics, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, and retail.

His tenure in leading Fortune companies has been marked by strategic planning and execution, project and programme management, change management, and managing large-scale teams. Notably, he played a crucial role in the GSK Hindustan Unilever M&A, overseeing the technology aspects of the Nutrition Portfolio, which was valued at 500 million GBP.

Recognized as a versatile technology expert, Pandey’s skills include SAP Implementation/Support, Contact/Call Centre Operations, Vendor Management, RFP processes, and comprehensive SAP Technical/Functional expertise. He has also been associated with IBM for seven years as an SAP advisory consultant.
