Amazon.com disclosed on Thursday that it would be reducing its workforce by less than 5% in its ‘Buy with Prime’ segment. Introduced in 2022, ‘Buy with Prime’ extends fulfillment and delivery services, using Amazon’s logistics network, to retailers who are not affiliated with Amazon as merchants.
Amazon emphasised that ‘Buy with Prime’ continues to be a key focus area, with substantial resources allocated for its growth. The exact number of employees in this division was not revealed, but sources familiar with the matter informed Reuters that the downsizing impacts just over 30 individuals.

Amazon has committed to assisting those affected in finding new positions, both within the company and externally.

This development follows a series of recent layoffs by Amazon, including several hundred positions in its streaming and studio operations, as well as in its Twitch streaming platform and Audible audiobook service, as reported by various media outlets.
