NIIT Ltd disclosed the appointment of Pankaj Prabhakar Jathar as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from July 1, 2024, as per a regulatory submission by the company. Pankaj is set to succeed Sapnesh Lalla, who will continue his involvement with the company as the CEO of NIIT Learning Systems and serve as a non-executive director for NIIT Limited.

NIIT Ltd, headquartered in Gurgaon, is renowned for contributing to talent and skill development through a wide range of online and offline training programs.

Following this announcement, NIIT’s shares experienced a downturn, closing at Rs 110.75 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), marking a 2.03% decrease.
