OpenAI has appointed Prabhjeet Singh, former President of Uber India and South Asia, as its Managing Director for India. He will join the company in September and become OpenAI’s senior-most leader in the country.

In his new role, Singh will oversee consumer growth, enterprise adoption, strategic partnerships, and business operations in India. The appointment highlights OpenAI’s growing focus on India, one of its key global markets.
