After a thirteen-year long stint, Hero MotoCorp’s CIO Vijay Sethi has quit the firm. Along with the role of CIO, Sethi also donned the role of Head CSR and Head Human Resources at Hero MotoCorp. According to sources, the last working day of Sethi at the automaker was January 20, 2021.

Pawan Munjal, chairman of Hero MotoCorp has informed the development to employees in an email.

Before joining Hero MotoCorp in 2007, Sethi has worked with Ranbaxy and TCS in various senior positions. He holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, an MBA in Materials Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

After the resignation of Sethi, the automaker has also made Pradeep Eledath as in change of IT function during the interim period until a new CIO is appointed.

Pradeep has more than 25 years of experience in information technology, digital transformation and cybersecurity.
