Arjun Mohan has resigned as CEO of BYJU’S India, ending his tenure almost eight months after his recent appointment. This was his second tenure at the leading edtech company. Initially, Arjun was part of BYJU’s founding team and later served as the Chief Business Officer before leaving to join Upgrad.

He returned to BYJU’S, taking over from Mrinal Mohit, who left the company in September 2023 to focus on personal endeavors. Following Mohan’s departure, BYJU’s founder Raveendran is expected to take over the CEO responsibilities. Mohan’s exit comes during a tumultuous period for BYJU’S, which is currently navigating several challenges under Raveendran’s leadership.
