French firm InterCloud, InterCloud, a leading Cloud connectivity platform, has raised a further 100 million euros ($114.43 million) to support its international expansion in its latest fundraising round.
InterCloud said, “With the investment, we look forward to expand our international sales team, starting in Europe. Around 50 people to be added this year.
Launched in 2010, InterCloud helps companies access multiple cloud resources through a single platform. It has teamed up with major cloud computing providers such as Microsoft, Amazon’s AWS and Alphabet Inc’s Google Cloud.
The company will also use the funds for research and development, partnerships and acquisitions.
The company’s existing investors Ventech and Open CNP participated in the latest capital increase led by investment firm Aleph Capital.
“There is a significant growth opportunity in SDCI platforms worldwide. In Aleph Capital we have exceptional partners to expand the business,” said InterCloud CEO, Jerome Dilouya.
