They have been working on intelligence for a long time now, and it has been ten years since they decided to make artificial intelligence the main focus of the company.
Google said that its artificial intelligence systems are now processing more than 3.2 quadrillion tokens every month.
That is an increase from last year when they were processing 480 trillion tokens.
Now over 8.5 million developers are using Google’s models every month, and the application programming interfaces are handling 19 billion tokens every minute.
One of the things they announced was Gemini Spark, which is an artificial intelligence assistant that is always on and can help with tasks across different applications.
Google also introduced Gemini Omni, which’s a new system that can understand text, images, audio and video.
They also talked about Antigravity 2.0 which’s a platform that helps artificial intelligence agents work together.
Google’s search and productivity products also got some updates.
For example, AI Overviews in Search are now used by 2.5 billion people every month. Ai Mode has been used by 1 billion people in just one year.
The Gemini app has grown a lot in the year, from 400 million monthly active users to 900 million, and the number of requests it gets every day has increased seven times.
Google also announced Ask YouTube, which lets users jump to the relevant parts of videos and Docs Live, which is a new feature that uses Gemini to turn spoken words into formatted documents.

Google is also working on hardware, including its eighth-generation Tensor Processing Units.
The TPU 8T is designed for training intelligence models and is almost three times as powerful as the previous version.
The TPU 8i is designed for using intelligence models and is twice as efficient as the previous version.
To make all of this happen Google said it plans to spend around $180-190 billion this year which’s a lot more, than the $31 billion it spent in 2022.
