Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has opened a new delivery centre in Warsaw, Poland, as part of its expanding European operations. Within a year, the company will double its workforce in Poland to over 1,200 employees for further growth in the region.

TCS has operated in Poland since 2006, and its continued expansion shows the company’s commitment to the European market, where it has been present for more than 45 years.

Poland has a vast technology talent pool, which makes it a key region for TCS. The Warsaw centre will tap into the Polish Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector and support customer needs in niche technology skills and business processes. As part of TCS’ European delivery network, the centre will help provide hyper-connected services across Europe and offer consistent, near-shore solutions tailored to regional requirements.

The centre’s inauguration was attended by the Indian Ambassador to Poland, Nagma Mallick, who called this a milestone event and a gratifying moment for both TCS and the Embassy of India in Poland.

TCS executives Sapthagiri Chapalapalli and Prabal Datta were also present. Chapalapalli said, “ For nearly twenty years, TCS has been establishing solid partnerships with prominent Polish and global companies. Our decision to invest and scale our presence demonstrates our faith in the Polish economy and the exceptional talent available here to support our customers across the world.”

TCS’ investment aligns with Europe’s push for digital growth, as governments aim to enhance digital skills and infrastructure by 2030. This expansion follows other recent TCS developments, such as the launch of an Aviation Digital Centre in Lisbon and an AI Centre of Excellence in Paris.
