Chandra Bhattacharjee has been announced as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Aditya Birla Textiles under Grasim Industries Limited, a leading entity of the USD 60 billion Aditya Birla Group. Bhattacharjee brings over three decades of experience in the industry to her new role, having been associated with the Aditya Birla Group since 2004 in various capacities.

Bhattacharjee expressed her enthusiasm about her new position on Linkedin, stating, “I’m delighted to announce that I’ve embarked on a new journey as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Aditya Birla Textiles, GRASIM INDUSTRIES LIMITED (ADITYA BIRLA GROUP).”

She assumed her responsibilities as CHRO of Aditya Birla Textiles in August 2023. Before joining the Aditya Birla Group, her career spanned significant roles at the National Stock Exchange, DGP Windsor, Silverline Industries, and Larsen & Toubro. In her preceding tenure within the Aditya Birla Group, Bhattacharjee was the CHRO overseeing the human resources function for the domestic chemicals, insulators, overseas chemicals, and fertilizers segments.

Aditya Birla Textiles operates in three key markets, including Domestic Textiles in India, Thai Acrylic Fibre in Thailand, and Overseas Spinning in Indonesia, Thailand, and Europe.
