Mukesh Rathi has been named as the chief digital officer of the Hinduja Group, a diverse conglomerate that includes firms like Ashok Leyland, IndusInd Bank, and Hinduja Technologies, among others.

Rathi, who has more than 24 years of experience in the field, left Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he served as chief digital and information officer, to join Hinduja Group.

Rathi will be in charge of creating strong digital transformation roadmaps for the group firms at the Hinduja Group while guiding the conglomerate towards a dominant presence in the digital economy. He would be stationed in Mumbai, at the corporate headquarters of the Hinduja Group.

He has implemented a number of digital business strategies during his career, supported digital businesses, and driven innovation to create a competitive edge.

Rathi has experience working for Genpact, SAP India, HP Enterprise Services, and Hindustan Unilever in addition to Dr. Reddy’s.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur awarded him a B. Tech. in industrial engineering, and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow awarded him a postgraduate degree in management.
