Zepto is relocating its headquarters from Mumbai to Bengaluru. The quick commerce startup is looking for a larger facility around Sarjapur, sources say, and has plans to shift the Mumbai-based employees. The relocation will reportedly take place early next year.

Currently, Zepto operates offices in both Mumbai and Bengaluru. It is currently headquartered in Mumbai at the WeWork premises at Jogeshwari, Andheri East. With the expansion in place, 500 new hires will join the Bengaluru campus in addition to the existing staff from Mumbai.

According to Tracxn, Zepto has over 1,700 employees, with around 1,000 in Mumbai. Both the tech and product teams are already based in Bengaluru.

The start-up has been actively hiring top talent across various domains, including engineering, product, growth, finance, operations, and category management.
