To expand its data center colocation and cloud services offering, Vodafone Idea‘s enterprise division, Vi Business, announced on Wednesday that it had teamed with Mumbai-based data center company Yotta Infrastructure.

Vi Business will use Yotta’s data centers, cloud infrastructure, and service delivery capabilities to strengthen its market position and support Indian businesses’ digital transformation efforts.

In addition, Vi Business wants to use its synergies with Yotta to provide its enterprise clients with integrated connection, cloud, and security solutions.

Vi said that the association’s goal is to “empower businesses with tailored solutions in the most cost-effective way that address their specific needs and propel them towards growth in their digital journey,” according to Rochak Kapur, executive vice president — connectivity, security, cloud & business operations.

With Yotta NM1, Yotta TB1 and TB2 in Navi Mumbai, Yotta D1 in Greater Noida, Yotta, a subsidiary of the Hiranandani Group, has a powerful network of cutting-edge, highly-compliant, and secure hyperscale data centers in strategic locations around India.
In addition, the company is building data center parks and edge data centers in Guwahati, West Bengal, Pune, Chennai, and other cities. Additionally, Bangladesh is now part of the expansion plan.

The business also stated in May that Tarun Kripalani’s appointment as Media & Entertainment Evangelist and Siji Sunny’s as Chief Cloud Architect have bolstered its leadership team.

Vi Business will supplement Yotta’s in-house hyperscale data center and cloud infrastructure, according to Sunil Gupta, co-founder, MD, and CEO of Yotta Data Services, in a statement. Vi Business will also combine these resources with Yotta’s significant go-to-market (GTM) outreach and in-house service delivery capabilities.
