Chat GPT-4

OpenAI has released a new version of its artificial intelligence chatbot that is even more advanced than its disruptive predecessor. Building on previous ChatGPT iterations, OpenAI claims GPT-4 will use more computation to create increasingly sophisticated and capable language models.

GPT-4 can generate, edit, and iterate with users on creative and technical writing tasks. Most notably, the new model can respond to images and text.

GPT-4 is capable of producing captions, classifications, and analyses. It can also handle more than 25,000 words of text, allowing for content creation, extended conversations, and document search and analysis, according to the research firm.

According to OpenAI, GPT-4 is more than 80% more likely than previous models to respond to requests for “disallowed content” and 40% more likely to produce factual responses.

Some of GPT-4’s limitations, such as “social biases, hallucinations, and adversarial prompts,” have been acknowledged by OpenAI.

“We anticipate that GPT-4 will become a valuable tool in improving people’s lives by powering a wide range of applications,” OpenAI wrote. “There is still much work to be done, and we look forward to improving this model through the community’s collective efforts in building on top of, exploring, and contributing to the model.”

The product is available to ChatGPT Plus paying customers as well as developers looking to build applications and services.
