NxtGen to invest Rs 1,300 cr in Data Centres across India By Elets News Network - 22 February 2022

NxtGen Datacenter and Cloud Technologies is planning to raise $100 million to invest in data center expansion across India by the first quarter of 2022-23.

According to reports, the company plans to invest Rs 1,300 crore ($174.3m) to develop 10 more data centers. Also the company is gearing up for investment in 236 Edge facilities across the country.


The company is looking to develop new facilities in Chennai, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam.

“We are planning to invest in 10 more data centers. To complement these, another 236 Edge data centers are also being planned” said A S Rajgopal, CEO & MD, NxtGen Datacenter and Cloud Technologies.

Currently operational in four data centers in Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Faridabad and Mumbai, NxtGen offers a number of IT services including cloud, CDN, colocation and disaster recovery.
