The Global Delivery Center (GDC), a division of Industry Solutions Delivery and the larger Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) group, has appointed Aparna Gupta as its head. As the new CEO of GDC, Aparna will be in charge of cloud growth acceleration with top-tier talent, industry depth, and partner ecosystem, as well as customer innovation and delivery quality.

Global Delivery Center (GDC), the delivery division of Industry Solutions Delivery, was founded in Hyderabad in 2005 and has subsequently expanded to Bangalore and Noida in addition to having a global presence. It brings together project managers, consultants, and architects to provide clients throughout the world with the best delivery options available. Aparna will collaborate closely with the group to assist clients in their journey toward digital transformation. “We are thrilled to announce Aparna’s promotion to GDC lead,” Microsoft India and South Asia President Puneet Chandok stated. “Her vast experience and in-depth understanding of Microsoft technologies will help clients plan and implement solutions that are ready for the future, particularly in the AI era, and optimize the return on their Microsoft investment.” Her leadership will be essential to our sustained success both locally and internationally.

The team already has a solid basis, and I want to expand on it even more to move it forward.

GDC offers partner and delivery management, adoption management, and four Centers of Excellence (CoE) in app innovation, data & AI, infrastructure and security, and business applications. Together, they represent a solid base of indisputable technical expertise and effective delivery management, all with the common goal of offering customers all over the world transformative solutions.

Aparna started with Microsoft six years ago as the lead for India in Commercial Software Engineering (CSE), which is now known as ISE. She has had a beneficial influence on the company over the years; one example being the creation of the Customer Success Unit (CSU) as a new division under MCAPS India.

For her teams and the Microsoft Cloud as a whole, Aparna has fostered a strong consumption culture. In addition, she has built a diverse team and has been a strong supporter of inclusion and diversity, acting as the Executive Sponsor for the Women’s ERG Charter. She most recently worked in the India and South Asia Areas as the Customer Success Leader.
