Cisco has teamed together with Nvidia to provide meetings fueled by AI to employees operating in hybrid mode. As part of this partnership, Cisco has enhanced Cinematic Meetings features and unveiled a new integrated collaboration solution called Room Kit EQX, both of which make use of the Nvidia AI engine. A statement from the firm claims that Cisco will be able to deliver 20 times more AI effectiveness than prior generations thanks to the integration of Nvidia capabilities and RoomOS, its hardware conference room operating system.

According to Jeetu Patel, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Cisco Security and Collaboration, “Companies must fundamentally reimagine and reconfigure workspaces to provide seamless and immersive collaboration experience” in order to make people want to come to work. “This is made possible by our partnership with Nvidia as we broaden our offering of AI-powered solutions that maximize the potential of hybrid workers.”

Benefits of the Room Kit EQX system include enhanced audiovisual capabilities, unified management and security, easy setup and maintenance, and platform interoperability.

With its Cinematic Meeting capabilities, Cisco embraces the idea of Distance Zero, which minimizes the effects of distance and creates an immersive experience for all meeting participants. Utilizing an Nvidia Jetson system-on-a-module, these features facilitate teamwork. Cisco is launching new immersive workplace configurations and hybrid presentations with the new upgrades.

Webex, a web conferencing platform owned by Cisco, announced Webex AI Assistance on Wednesday, promising improved accuracy and productivity. The Webex Suite, Cisco Collaboration devices, Webex Contact Center, Webex Connect, and Webex Control Hub will all have it integrated.
