Karnataka Home and IT&BT Minister Priyank M Kharge visited Anthropic’s Bengaluru office to explore the use of artificial intelligence across governance, education and innovation. The discussions focused on AI-powered citizen services, multilingual experiences and the responsible deployment of AI technologies.
Following the meeting, the Karnataka government will establish two dedicated working groups with the Centre for e-Governance and the Home Department to identify priority AI use cases. The discussions also covered Claude certifications for students, professionals and enterprises, along with support for startups and developers.

The two sides further explored Anthropic’s AI for Science and Claude for Education initiatives, reinforcing Karnataka’s commitment to building a responsible and future-ready AI ecosystem.
