Yotta Data Services and NVIDIA unveiled a transformative partnership at the India AI Impact Summit, announcing deployment of one of Asia-Pacific’s largest AI computing infrastructures with investment exceeding $2 billion.
The collaboration centers on deploying 20,736 liquid-cooled NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs at Yotta’s hyperscale data center campus in Greater Noida, scheduled to become operational by August 2026. Additionally, NVIDIA will establish one of APAC’s largest DGX Cloud clusters within Yotta’s infrastructure through a four-year engagement valued at over $1 billion.
Sunil Gupta, Co-Founder, MD and CEO of Yotta Data Services, emphasized that India’s AI ambition requires sustained, high-performance computing at scale, with the deployment ensuring the compute layer remains consistently available as production use cases expand. Critically, Yotta will dedicate over 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs from the supercluster to support the IndiaAI Mission’s sovereign foundation model development and research.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang described India as emerging among the world’s most important AI markets, driven by extraordinary talent and bold national vision. He noted the deployment creates advanced infrastructure capable of training frontier-scale models and delivering AI at population scale while strengthening NVIDIA’s regional footprint.

The infrastructure deployment positions India among a limited group of nations capable of hosting frontier-scale AI compute domestically, reducing dependence on offshore infrastructure. Yotta currently operates over 10,000 NVIDIA GPUs with another 8,000 units launching this quarter, targeting more than 80,000 GPUs by FY27 and potentially exceeding one million GPUs within three to five years.
The announcement aligns with India’s IndiaAI Mission receiving over $1 billion in government funding to bolster compute capacity and foster sovereign AI datasets, frontier models, and applications while supporting education, startup innovation, and trustworthy AI frameworks.
