Direct-to-consumer mattress and sleep solutions brand The Sleep Company has appointed Hemal Jain as Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company scales operations and focuses on sustainable growth.

Jain brings over 20 years of diverse experience spanning FMCG, food technology, quick commerce, B2B enterprises, and startup consulting. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with founders and senior leadership teams, leading large finance functions and helping organizations transition from high cash-burn phases to sustainable profitability.

Her expertise includes playing key roles in IPO preparation and acquisition journeys, bringing both strategic foresight and operational rigor to finance leadership. Jain believes finance should function as a thinking partner from day one, enabling sharper decision-making, building resilient systems, and creating long-term value.

Priyanka Salot, co-founder of The Sleep Company, emphasized that strong financial discipline and clear decision-making are essential as the company continues expanding. She noted that Jain’s experience building finance teams across large consumer and digital organizations, combined with her ability to balance growth and control, will support the company’s trajectory.

The appointment arrives as The Sleep Company reports strong revenue growth. Regulatory filings show operating revenue reached Rs 499 crore in FY25, marking a 60% year-on-year increase. Despite the growth, the company remained loss-making during the fiscal year, though losses narrowed compared to the previous period.

Founded by Harshil Salvi and Priyanka Salot, The Sleep Company offers mattresses, pillows, cushions, bedding, and ergonomic office chairs through direct-to-consumer channels and major e-commerce marketplaces.
