The World AI Summit 2025 is set to kick off tomorrow in Bengaluru, bringing together over 150 global speakers and 1000+ key stakeholders, including AI leaders, policy-makers, innovators, and industry pioneers.

The summit is guided by Dr. Ekroop Caur, IAS, Secretary of the Department of Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka, serving as the Programme Mentor.

The summit’s core theme, “AI for All: Powering India’s Inclusive and Responsible AI Future”,  envisions a world where Artificial Intelligence is accessible, ethical, and beneficial to everyone. It underscores the need for AI solutions that drive innovation and growth while serving society, promoting inclusivity, and ensuring responsible use. The theme reflects India’s commitment to leveraging AI to empower citizens, businesses, and government alike, addressing real-world challenges with technology.

Over two days, the summit will provide a comprehensive exploration of how Artificial Intelligence is transforming industries, governance, and society, featuring keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, fireside chats, and the prestigious World AI Awards. 

The summit will also witness the launch of a special edition of eGOV Magazine, dedicated to highlighting the most innovative AI initiatives and innovations in India, providing insights into the country’s thriving AI ecosystem forward.

Day 1 – September 25, 2025

The summit will open with a welcome address by Dr. Ravi Gupta, Founder & CEO, Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd., followed by a keynote address from Rahul Sharanappa Sankanur, IAS, Director, Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology & Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka.

The inaugural session, “AI’s Next Frontier – From Local Ecosystem to Global Powerhouse,” will explore how regional AI ecosystems are scaling to create a globally competitive environment. Panels will cover critical topics such as workforce reskilling, citizen-centric governance, AI-driven enterprise growth, and the ethical, secure deployment of AI across public and private sectors, while fireside chats and interactive workshops will provide deeper insights into AI strategy, risk management, and operational impact. 

A standout highlight of the day will be the Industry Presentation by A.S. Rajgopal, which will showcase cutting-edge advancements in cloud infrastructure and AI-driven solutions, demonstrating how technology will reshape enterprise operations and enable scalable innovation across industries.

Day 2 – September 26, 2025

The second day of the summit will spotlight advanced AI applications, commercialization, and investment opportunities. The day begins with keynote addresses from Sharad Sharma, Co-Founder of iSpirit; Sahil Kini, Chief Executive Officer of the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH); Prof. Bharadwaj Amrutur, Executive Director & Chief Technologist at ARTPARK, IISc; Inder Gopal, Chairman of the Centre of Data for Public Good and Research Professor at IISc; and Anand Sri Ganesh, Chief Executive Officer of NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore.

The afternoon will feature engaging panels and fireside chats on human-centric AI, autonomous AI agents in business, AI venture capital, next-generation finance, and agentic AI transforming global capability centers. Experts leading these discussions include Sreedevi Hegde, Managing Director & Board Member, India GCC Head, VERVENT; Venkat Yellapantula, Chief Digital Officer (CDO), Indian Bank; Shashank Randev, Founder & General Partner, 247VC; and George Inasu, Managing Director and Country Head, Fidelity National Financial India.
