Sparsh CCTV has partnered with Indian Railways to provide security for the Jammu Railway Division and the Maha Kumbh event in Prayagraj. The collaboration improves rail connectivity between Kashmir and the rest of India while ensuring safety during a large religious event.

The Jammu Railway Division is part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL), a rail project that connects a sensitive region. Sparsh CCTV introduced explosion-proof cameras, fire detection systems, face recognition technology, and abandoned object monitoring for USBRL. A control room with AI and SCADA systems monitors train movement and operations.

The USBRL project includes 38 tunnels spanning 119 kilometres, 927 bridges covering 13 kilometres, and the Chenab Bridge, the world’s highest railway arch bridge at 359 metres. Sparsh’s systems manage cable monitoring, track obstructions, and other operational challenges. The solutions were implemented with partners such as RailTel, Konkan Railways, L&T, Tata, Honeywell, and Siemens.

For the Maha Kumbh, Sparsh installed STQC-certified cameras at major Prayagraj railway stations, like Prayagraj (PRYJ), Prayagraj Junction (PYGS), Phaphamau Junction (PFM), and Rambag (PRRB). It also provided end-to-end video management systems, and crowd management analytics at major locations. In Prayagraj, the company set up a control room and used crowd management analytics for security during the event.

Sanjeev Sehgal, Sparsh CCTV’s Founder and CEO, said, “We are immensely proud to contribute to both the USBRL project and the Maha Kumbh, two monumental initiatives that reflect India’s spirit of progress and unity. By delivering innovative, 100% Made in India solutions, we have reinforced our commitment to safety, quality, and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.”

Sparsh CCTV, established in 2002, develops in-house surveillance solutions. Its products are designed and manufactured in India, supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
