Infosys announced a strategic collaboration with Yorkshire Building Society (YBS) to accelerate the financial institution’s digital transformation journey. The initiative, revealed yesterday, is designed to deliver a seamless, mobile-first banking experience for YBS’s mortgage, savings, and commercial customers.

Under this partnership, Infosys will deploy cutting-edge solutions in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cybersecurity. These technologies will support YBS’s strategic objectives leading up to 2030, aiming to modernise operations, boost security, and enhance both customer and employee experiences.

“This digital transformation will equip our members and colleagues with robust tools and innovative services to improve financial experiences,” said Patrick Connolly, Director of Change Delivery at YBS. “Our major priorities include streamlining payments and fortifying security across platforms.”

Echoing the sentiment, Dennis Gada, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Banking & Financial Services at Infosys, stated, “We are delivering a comprehensive suite of advanced technologies to help Yorkshire Building Society enhance its end-to-end digital capabilities and strengthen customer engagement.”

In parallel, Infosys also unveiled Infosys Topaz for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, an AI-powered suite designed to simplify and expedite the transition to SAP’s cloud-based ERP system. This offering integrates generative AI across the transformation lifecycle, enabling faster deployment and modernisation of enterprise operations. Built on Infosys’ proprietary cloud framework, Topaz comes equipped with industry-specific solutions and pre-configured implementation guides.

During the company’s Q4 FY25 earnings call, CEO Salil Parekh emphasised Infosys’ growing focus on generative AI. “We’re seeing a strong shift from isolated AI use cases to full-scale AI-driven transformations,” Parekh noted. “Our clients are increasingly relying on intelligent AI agents to play a critical role in their business evolution.”
