
Cognizant has named Sailaja Josyula as the Global Head of its Global Capability Center (GCC) Service Line, where she will drive the company’s strategy to align with evolving client and industry demands.
Josyula re-joins Cognizant after a stint at EY, marking her return to the company where she previously served from 2018 to 2024. During her earlier tenure, she played a pivotal role as Centre Head for Hyderabad and Global Head of BFSI Operations Delivery, strengthening Cognizant’s Financial Services IOA business and contributing to the expansion of its Hyderabad operations.

In her new role, Josyula will lead a cross-functional team, guiding clients in building and scaling next-generation GCCs. Cognizant emphasized that her leadership will be key in enhancing the company’s expertise in this fast-growing sector, ensuring innovation, agility, and operational excellence remain at the core of its offerings.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Josyula stated on LinkedIn, “Absolutely thrilled to return and lead the GCC service line at Cognizant. I am excited about the value that we will create for our clients.”
Cognizant has been making significant investments in innovation and talent development. Just last month, the company announced the establishment of a 14-acre Cognizant Immersive Learning Centre (CILC) at its Siruseri campus in Chennai. This state-of-the-art facility is expected to train 100,000 professionals annually in AI, reinforcing Cognizant’s commitment to technological advancement and workforce development.
