Vibhav Agarwal, who shared the news on LinkedIn, brings over 25 years of experience in India’s infrastructure and energy sectors. His expertise spans project execution, financing, restructuring, divestments, portfolio management, and strategic initiatives like decarbonization and energy transition.

In his new role, he will focus on driving operational excellence, accelerating project execution, and strengthening stakeholder engagement to propel Essar Future Energy’s growth.

An Electrical Engineer from NIT Warangal and an IIM Mumbai alumnus, Agarwal has led businesses generating over $500 million in annual EBITDA. His extensive experience covers thermal, hydro, and renewable energy, along with power transmission and distribution. He has successfully managed large-scale contracts, corporate affairs, regulatory matters, and policy advocacy, playing a key role in business transformation and turnaround strategies.

His leadership is expected to position Essar Future Energy at the forefront of India’s energy transition, fostering innovation and resilience in the sector.
