Achint Setia has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of e-commerce platform Snapdeal. With nearly 20 years of experience in e-commerce, media, telecom, and government services, he is taking charge from Himanshu Chakrawarti.

Himanshu, with 30 years of experience, has led Snapdeal and Stellaro Brands for three years. He will now focus solely on growing Stellaro Brands, a subsidiary of AceVector. He has worked with brands like Trent, Arvind, and the Landmark Group.

Setia’s previous roles include senior positions at Zalora Group, Myntra, Viacom18, McKinsey & Co., and Microsoft. He holds an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Indian School of Business and has completed the Stanford GSB LEAD program in Corporate Innovation.

Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal, co-founders of AceVector Limited, commented on the leadership changes. They expressed confidence in Chakrawarti’sability to drive Stellaro’s growth. They also emphasised Setia’s experience in e-commerce, media, technology, and brand building, which they believe will support Snapdeal’s growth. Both executives were wished success in their roles.
