Airtel Business and Zscaler have teamed up to bring us ‘Airtel Secure Digital Internet,’ India’s first fully managed Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)-based solution. This innovation is meant to shield enterprises from the growing list of cyber threats out there. It combines Airtel’s Internet Leased Line (ILL) with Zscaler’s cloud security prowess, including Security Service Edge (SSE) technology and Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA).

The solution has features like complete threat protection, SSL inspection, a cloud firewall, and secure access to cloud apps, which are all built on the core principle of ‘never trust, always verify the user, device, and network’. Anant Nag, Area Vice President, India & SAARC, Zscaler, stated that the joint solution stemmed from growing demand and market needs.

The zero-trust architecture of ‘Airtel Secure Digital Internet’ reduces attack surfaces while simplifying security management by centralising policy enforcement, providing consistent protection for users no matter where they are. Plus, its cloud-native security framework cuts out the need for pricey hardware, boosting operational efficiency and reducing the overall cost of ownership.

Airtel has also upgraded its Internet Points of Presence (PoPs) by integrating Zscaler’s advanced security stack, which optimises network performance and minimises latency. As a top-tier Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) partner of Zscaler, Airtel is offering a full package of managed services—covering everything from initial deployment to ongoing premium support.

Now, enterprises can leverage Airtel’s wide-reaching Internet Leased Line (ILL) to enjoy secure, reliable connectivity across their office locations.
