
L&T Technology Services Limited and the Maharashtra State Cyber Department, have jointly inaugurated India’s first integrated state-level Cyber Command and Control Centre. The facility, located at Mahape, was inaugurated by Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Fadnavis said, “Maharashtra has set a benchmark to provide a world-class platform to tackle Cyber Crimes with global cutting-edge technologies and highly skilled cyber experts. This ensures the timely resolution of cyber crimes and assures digital safety for citizens, enterprises and critical infrastructure.”

The centre was created to build a secure digital space, helping citizens, businesses, and critical infrastructure stay safe from cybercrime, and to improve crime investigations, increasing conviction rates, training the police, and raising public awareness about cyber threats in Maharashtra.

L&T Technology Services partnered with KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP to develop the project for the Maharashtra Cyber Department.
The project includes:

A Cyber Crime Command and Control Centre

A Technology-Assisted Investigation (TAI) centre with advanced forensic tools

CERT-Maharashtra with AI-based threat detection tools

A Security Operations Centre

A Cyber Centre of Excellence for training and citizen awareness
Highlights of the centre include:

Use of over 50 global forensic tools, 17 threat detection tools, and 13 cybersecurity tools using AI and blockchain

A team of 150+ experts in forensics, investigations, and cybersecurity

Support for 50 district cyber police stations across Maharashtra

The CCC will be a one-stop solution for handling complaints through channels like a helpline (14407, available from 15th October), a web portal, and a mobile app. Citizen and enterprise complaints will be handled by the Nodal Cyber Police Station and 50 district cyber police stations, supported by the Technology-Assisted Investigation (TAI) Centre.
