Pfizer Establishes Analytics Capability Centre in Mumbai By Elets News Network - 19 September 2024

Pfizer Inc. inaugurated its first commercial analytics centre, the ‘Analytics Gateway,’ in Mumbai. It also doubles up as Pfizer’s first global capability centre (GCC) and will function as the organisation’s international market outside of the US.

The centre will employ data analytics and AI solutions to improve patient outcomes and ensure the company’s growth across 140 international markets. It will also promote continuous commercial effectiveness and ensure that Pfizer uses more of its medicines for patients in India and abroad.


Pfizer’s Country President, Meenakshi Nevatia, said, “The actionable insights generated by the Analytics Gateway will power up our global commercial engine as we modernise healthcare to meet the evolving needs of patients in India and worldwide and deliver strong patient outcomes.”

Xingchu Liu, Chief Commercial Analytics and AI Officer, called the centre “an important catalyst to reshape healthcare” that will quickly deliver breakthroughs and, therefore, life-changing therapies to patients. She also expressed her confidence in the capability centre, ensuring that it will help Pfizer make “informed, data-driven decisions that will prove valuable to patients and customers around the world.”
