Kumaresh Pattabiraman has been appointed Country Manager and Product Head at LinkedIn India.

Pattabiraman took to his LinkedIn account to announce his appointment. He wrote, “Having started my career as an engineer in Bangalore and built teams in India across LinkedIn and Microsoft, I can say that the energy, ambition, and potential of Indian talent, especially in R&D, are unparalleled.”

In his new role, he aims to work closely with India’s team and LinkedIn’s partners, drive innovation, build strong partnerships, and create economic opportunities for every professional in India.

Pattabiraman previously worked at Microsoft and has over fifteen years of industry experience. He joined LinkedIn more than 11 years ago, starting out in the product division. He was promoted to Senior Director of Product in August 2022, overseeing feed, search, and generative AI products.

In his post, Pattabiraman noted that India is LinkedIn’s second-largest and fastest-growing market, showcasing the potential that the nation holds. He also praised LinkedIn’s evolution from a simple job-searching platform to a dynamic global community that connects professionals for networking, learning and knowledge sharing as well.
