
Mahindra Group appointed Ankit Todi as its new Group Chief Sustainability Officer. He will handle all conversations and relationships related to environmental sustainability for the Mahindra Group and report to Abanti Sankaranarayanan, the Group Public Affairs Officer and Member of the Group Executive Board.
Todi joined the company in 2022 and has since been key in developing the group’s ‘Planet Positive’ sustainability strategy. He also led the group’s engagement with global platforms like the World Economic Forum and the United Nations Global Compact.

Sankaranarayanan commented on Todi’s appointment: “Ankit has driven strong outcomes by integrating business strategy with sustainability initiatives. He has significantly contributed to driving sustainability roadmaps and actions across the group’s business, reinforcing Mahindra’s credibility as a planet-positive business group.”

Todi holds a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi. He is a member of the Mahindra Accelerated Leadership Track (MALT), a marquee leadership programme in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University. Before Mahindra, he worked in management consulting at Bain & Company for seven years.
