
Canon India announced Toshiaki Nomura as its new president and CEO, effective July 1, 2024. Nomura succeeds Manabu Yamazaki, who has been with Canon since 1999 and previously led the Business Imaging Solution (BIS) Division in Canon Southeast and South Asia.
Nomura expressed enthusiasm for his new role, highlighting the potential of India’s market and Canon India’s growth prospects. He aims to strengthen core imaging and printing businesses.

“I am particularly excited about contributing to the development of new businesses such as surveillance, business solutions and industrial printing. By deeply understanding and addressing the unique requirements of the Indian market, it will be my endeavor to ensure our customers are consistently delighted with our high-quality products and services.,” he added.

Nomura’s strategic vision has driven significant growth for Canon in the past. Under his leadership, Canon India plans to expand into Tier 2 and 3 cities, develop new business segments, and enhance its brand presence nationwide.
