In a strategic move to streamline its operational and service delivery mechanisms across different sectors, CMS Info Systems (CMSINFO) has announced Puneet Bhirani’s appointment as President of Operations. This role has been introduced to bolster the company’s service quality and operational efficiency across its diverse business units.

Expressing his enthusiasm over Puneet’s induction, Rajiv Kaul, Executive Vice Chairman, Whole Time Director, and CEO of CMS Info Systems stated, “In pursuit of sustaining our impressive revenue escalation of more than 20% over the past three years, we have heavily invested in advancing our technology and automation capabilities. These efforts aim to provide our clientele with unparalleled quality and network performance. Puneet’s vast experience in managing complex operations and his extensive domain expertise across various sectors make him an invaluable addition to the CMS Leadership Team. I am confident that his leadership will significantly contribute to the expansion of our logistics and technology platform.”

Bringing over 26 years of diverse leadership experience from working in the Indian, UK, and US markets, Puneet Bhirani is a seasoned professional in the field. His long tenure at Mphasis, which lasted over 18 years, saw him undertaking various roles, including sales, operations, and global shared services. During this time, he also served on the Executive Council and helmed its subsidiary, Digital Risk, in the USA. Following his stint at Mphasis, Puneet took on leadership roles as the CEO of OLA Fleet and subsequently as the COO of OLA Cabs. He played a pivotal role in the establishment of the Ola Electric Gigafactory. Before his latest appointment at CMSINFO, he was at the helm of operations at Byju’s, where he spearheaded the setup and management of over 300 new hybrid learning centres, driving the company’s operational transformation strategy across various fronts including sales, logistics, and enhancing customer experience.

Puneet is an alumnus of Punjab Engineering College, holding a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He has furthered his education with a Master in Marketing from S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, along with completing an Advanced Management Program from Wharton Business School.
