Scaler has appointed Tapan Jindal as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for both InterviewBit and Scaler. In this new role, Tapan will take on the responsibility of ensuring the financial health and growth of the organization, focusing on corporate strategy and financial operations.

With nearly two decades of experience in the financial industry, including investment banking and corporate finance, Tapan has worked with both established conglomerates and innovative start-ups like SugarBox Networks, Baazi Games, Den Networks, and CarDekho Group, which includes Insurance Dekho and Rupyy.

Scaler Co-Founder Abhimanyu Saxena expressed the company’s desire to strengthen its bottom line and achieve profitability, and he believes Tapan is well-suited to help achieve this goal. Tapan Jindal himself stated that education holds a special place in his heart, and he is excited to contribute to Scaler’s mission of becoming a globally admired tech education company in India.

In 2023, Scaler achieved positive cash flow and profitability in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter. The company also partnered with NSDC to support India’s #SkillIndia mission by offering upskilling programs for Software Development Engineers, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning specialists. Additionally, Scaler made its fourth acquisition, acquiring Delhi-based ed-tech platform Pepcoding, following previous acquisitions of AppliedRoots, Coding Minutes, and Coding Elements.

Since its launch in 2019, Scaler, headquartered in Bengaluru, has become a leading ed-tech platform, catering to working professionals and aspiring engineering students. The company is valued at $710 million and has received support from global investors such as Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India), Tiger Global, and Lightrock India. Scaler has also expanded its presence in both India and the United States.
