Microsoft has recently introduced Copilot Pro, a new premium service priced at USD 20 per month (approximately Rs 1650). This advanced tool integrates AI-powered functionalities within Microsoft Office applications and offers users the opportunity to access the latest models from OpenAI, including the ability to create personalised Copilot GPTs.
Yusuf Mehdi, the Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for consumers at Microsoft, shared insights late on Monday. He expressed enthusiasm about expanding Copilot for Microsoft 365 to a broader range of commercial clients, including small and medium enterprises.

Copilot Pro delivers a unified AI experience across various devices. Users of Microsoft 365 Personal and Family can utilize Copilot within applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote on PC, Mac, and iPad.

Mehdi highlighted the benefits of Copilot Pro, mentioning the inclusion of GPT-4 Turbo for improved performance during peak times. Additionally, the upcoming feature of switching between different models will allow users to tailor their experience.
A significant enhancement is the inclusion of Image Creator from Designer (formerly Bing Image Creator) in Copilot Pro. This feature offers improved AI-generated image creation, delivering enhanced image quality, a faster production rate with 100 boosts per day, and a new landscape image format.
After its initial release to enterprises in November, Copilot for Microsoft 365 is now widely available for businesses of all sizes. The service is accessible for small businesses through Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Business Standard, with a pricing model allowing the purchase of one to 299 seats at $30 per person per month.
Lastly, Microsoft has also announced the introduction of Copilot GPTs, providing users with the ability to customize Microsoft Copilot according to their specific interests. Starting today, a select number of Copilot GPTs with distinct functions, including fitness, travel, and cooking, will be rolled out. Furthermore, Copilot Pro users will soon have the opportunity to create their own Copilot GPTs using the new Copilot GPT Builder feature.
