Infosys announced the appointment of Jayesh Sanghrajka as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) after Nilanjan Roy resigned. On April 1, 2024, Sanghrajka takes office.
After eight years in the latter capacity, Sanghrajka is currently Infosys’ executive vice president and deputy CFO. He is in charge of several aspects of the finance function, such as tax, treasury, corporate finance, business finance, investor relations, and mergers and acquisitions portfolio management. He has worked in two stints totaling eighteen years, during which he has assumed a variety of leadership posts. He is a Chartered Accountant and a 25-year industry veteran, having worked for organizations such as Rediff and MuSigma.

“I am delighted to announce that Jayesh will take over as Chief Financial Officer. As Deputy CFO, he has been leading multiple portfolios in the finance function for several years now and his depth of experience and knowledge will serve us well to take the function to greater heights. I would also like to express my deep appreciation for Nilanjan for ably leading the function over the last five years and wish him the very best for his future endeavors,” said Salil Parekh, chief executive officer, Infosys.

Within the first two days of the week, the Indian technology industry has experienced a notable transition in leadership. In addition to Nilanjan Roy’s resignation and Sanghrajka’s appointment, Vaishali Kasturi, the interim Country Head of Amazon Web Services, also resigned from her position.
Approximately five years ago, Kasture began working for Amazon. In June, following the departure of Puneet Chandok, he was named AWS India and South Asia’s interim leader of commercial business. After heading AWS’s operations in India and South Asia for more than four years, Chandok succeeded Anant Maheshwari at Microsoft India in the role of corporate vice president for India and South Asia.
