Technicolor Creative Studios has used Dell infrastructure solutions for its IT transformation in India. Dell said that the partnership will enable Technicolor Creative Studios to broaden the range of its creative initiatives and investigate new avenues.
Scalable file storage is provided by Dell PowerScale, the company’s infrastructure offering. Thanks to this relationship, Technicolor will be able to accomplish its future ambitions, while previously, it was unable to take on fresh projects because of a lack of IT experience, according to Dell.

To assist Technicolor with more efficient data management, Dell Technologies will also provide Dell Migration and Implementation Services, Deployment Services, and Configuration Services.

Technicolor can get 110% more throughput, 83% faster rendering for realistic and fluid visual effects, and 43% less rack space needed for reduced expenses and carbon emissions with this combination. With disaster recovery capabilities, Dell will manage IT systems to support workloads involving artificial intelligence (AI) and lower cyber-security concerns.
Manish Gupta, Vice President, of Infrastructure Solutions Group at Dell Technologies India, said, “Dell’s infrastructure solutions integrated with cybersecurity offerings have helped Technicolor Creative Studios position themselves better to meet the growing demand for their services and seize new projects in India. With a mindset that proactively ensures data needs are taken care of, Technicolor Creative Studios will now be able to grow their business and build on more opportunities.”
Indrajit Belgundi, Senior Director and General Manager, Client Solutions Group at Dell Technologies India, also highlighted the cores of the partnership. “As technology becomes more and more important, having the right computer solution is essential, especially in the visual effects (VFX) industry. Our collaboration with Technicolor Creative Studios highlights how well Dell’s Latitude and P-Series devices work, as they have been instrumental in re-establishing Technicolor Creative Studios as a top provider of visual effects. Through this partnership, Dell is supporting Technicolor Creative Solutions’ digital transformation journey while also improving the production of fantastical visual experiences,” he said.
Technicolor teams will be able to render VFX animations more quickly thanks to Dell PowerScale. Additionally, Dell will offer integrated cyber resilience to guarantee a comprehensive system for attack detection and response.
Biren Ghose, Country Head (India), Technicolor Creative Studios, said, “Dell Technologies supports our goal to be creative leaders leveraging technology. With innovative solutions like Dell PowerScale, we can tell stories of tomorrow with greater efficiency. Dell Technologies is helping us advance CGI, and AI, and create new immersive content in an emerging experience economy, and sustainable experiences. With their cyber-resiliency solutions, our intellectual property is better protected than ever.”
Dell stated that to meet Technicolor’s HPC needs, it is expanding its capacity to offer scalable all-flash storage options in addition to Dell PowerEdge servers.
