Vishal Salvi has been named the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Quick Heal Technologies with immediate effect. Salvi, a former executive at Infosys, has more than 29 years of experience promoting excellence in the information technology and cybersecurity fields in India and internationally. Salvi was the Business Head of the Cybersecurity Service Line, Senior Vice President, and Global Chief Information Security Officer at Infosys Ltd. before joining Quick Heal Technologies. He was a pivotal contributor to the Infosys Group’s information and cyber security strategy during his tenure.

Salvi has held numerous leadership positions at illustrious companies like PwC, HDFC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Global Trust Bank, Development Credit Bank, and Crompton Greaves, where he honed his extensive expertise in cybersecurity and information technology. Quick Heal Technologies Ltd.’s chairman and managing director, Dr. Kailash Katkar, will remain in that position. The company has experienced remarkable growth and success thanks largely to Dr. Katkar’s outstanding leadership.


Under his inspiring leadership, Quick Heal increased its market share in the retail sector and entered the enterprise cybersecurity market in 2015 with the introduction of the renowned brand “SEQRITE.” With his proactive leadership, the company adopted a mission to “make Cybersafety a fundamental right for all” and has since made significant progress in closing the knowledge gaps that have exposed billions of people, organizations, and governments to cyber threats on a global scale.
