Vedanta Spark has announced a partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and NASSCOM’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) – IoT & AI to accelerate the adoption of digital technology-led innovations.

The Vedanta Spark program, which has already engaged 80 start-ups for more than 120 projects, aims to accelerate startups that use transformative and sustainable technologies to create large-scale impact in collaboration with Vedanta group companies. The NASSCOM CoE is well-known for its successful technology enablement in accelerating the innovation needs of large and mid-sized businesses in healthcare and well-being, process, manufacturing, and other areas.

This collaboration will investigate the potential applications of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), and Augmented Reality (AR) / Virtual Reality (VR), among others, across various Vedanta Group verticals. The partnership with Nasscom CoE will also assist the Vedanta Spark team in optimizing enterprise-level initiatives and processes. Through CoE, there is a large pool of innovative companies that specialize in cloud infrastructure optimization, UAV-based solutions, data-driven predictive approaches, and solutions capable of addressing specific problem statements related to enterprise concerns in real time.

Mr. Amitesh Sinha, Head – Vedanta Spark, and Mr. Sanjeev Malhotra, CEO, MeitY-nasscom CoE, along with the nasscom CoE team from Bangalore, signed the MoU at an event at nasscom CoE. Both teams agreed to implement an agenda that will address needs and work on a roadmap for future technology sectors.
