The rented electric bikes are designed to meet the unique needs of delivery professionals, making the shift to sustainable transport more accessible. Depending on how well the program is received, Zomato plans to scale the project beyond the Delhi-NCR region.
Commenting on the initiative, Anjalli Ravi Kumar, Chief Sustainability Officer at Eternal, stated, “For a sustainable future, we need to create an ecosystem where EV access is seamless for delivery partners. These rental bikes ensure they can succeed in their work while helping build a greener planet.”
