Technology giant Wipro has announced that, it’s strategic design arm Designit will be opening a studio in Sydney to grow its business requirements in Australia.
After the acquisition of high profile user experience brand ‘Syfte’, Designit has entered the local market earlier this year.
“This expansion will further increase the design and innovation capabilities, available for Asia Pacific clients,” said the company in a press release.
Designit was bought by Wipro in July 2015 for USD 94.3 million. Wipro bought it after Abidali Neemuchwala joined the company as the chief operating officer in April.
Designit helps Wipro’s clients to identify, explore, launch and scale new businesses, disrupt industries, and create new revenue streams.
