Flipkart Group has announced the addition of Dan Bartlett to its board. Currently the Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Walmart Inc., Bartlett will officially join Flipkart starting 21st November 2024.

At Walmart, he has been serving as the Head of Corporate Affairs. Along with his team, Bartlett advises the business while building trust and motivating change. He also leads the corporate real estate and development of the new home office of Walmart in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Welcoming Bartlett to the board, Kalyan Krishnamurthy, Flipkart Group’s CEO and board member, called Dan a close ally since Walmart joined hands with Flipkart in 2018. He also expressed confidence in his expertise in strategy, sustainability, and responsible business practices.

Bartlett has garnered decades of experience working in leading public relations firms like Hill+Knowlton and Public Strategies, Inc. He was also one of President George W. Bush’s most trusted advisors, responsible for communications, speechwriting and campaigns. Bartlett is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.
