Tech Mahindra has teamed up with Multiverse Computing, a provider of quantum computing solutions, to create a go-to strategy for serving clients in industries like manufacturing, healthcare, and finance. Together, the two businesses will innovate and create solutions based on quantum technology. To better communicate with end users, they will share pitch books and other materials.

Multiverse Computing, which has its headquarters in Spain, will deliver its quantum computing software to Tech Mahindra’s international clients while also advancing the company’s expertise in the area. To show customers how to customize and use Multiverse Computing’s Singularity product, the company will collaborate with Tech Mahindra’s sales team. Multiverse Computing’s Singularity is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform with quantum and quantum-based algorithms.

“Tech Mahindra is aware of the difficulties that clients in all industries face, and they also recognize the potential and fresh possibilities that come with quantum computing. Enrique Lizaso Olmos, chief executive officer and co-founder of Multiverse Computing, said, “We will combine their technical and customer knowledge with our quantum software expertise to solve difficult business problems.

Undoubtedly, Tech Mahindra has a network of Makers Labs throughout the world, each with a unique deep tech focus. For instance, a lab in Dallas specializes in artificial intelligence and Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR), whereas a lab in Ipswich, UK, focuses on quantum computing and the network domain. Nikhil Malhotra, the global head of Makers Lab, stated that the partnership stands on the principle of using “quantum-inspired” algorithms to improve AI performance. The partnership is with Multiverse Computing. While Tech Mahindra’s Makers Lab brings with it the fundamental and translation research of applying the same to businesses and their problems, Multiverse Computing brings with it the depth of algorithmic computing.

Atul Soneja was chosen by Tech Mahindra to fill the position of chief operating officer on August 7. “My vision is to continue the momentum that Tech Mahindra has by leveraging next-gen technologies,” Soneja said upon his appointment.
