Tech Mahindra has partnered with Microsoft to introduce an ontology-driven agentic AI platform designed to accelerate data modernisation and digital transformation for telecom operators and enterprises. The solution is built on Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI Foundry, enabling organisations to deploy AI agents that deliver explainable and real-time insights.
The platform focuses on bridging the gap between enterprise metadata and actionable intelligence. By converting complex datasets into structured and reusable data products, it enables telecom companies to adopt data mesh architectures more effectively and move from AI experimentation to large-scale implementation.
Through multi-agent orchestration, the system can analyse data, generate insights, and recommend actions across various telecom operations. Key use cases include churn prediction, fraud detection, revenue assurance, and network optimisation, helping telecom providers improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

The platform’s semantic-first architecture integrates knowledge graphs, governed data, and specialised AI agents into a unified stack. This approach reduces AI hallucination risks, improves root-cause analysis, and ensures transparency and compliance—an important requirement for highly regulated telecom environments.
According to company officials, the collaboration strengthens the strategic partnership between Tech Mahindra and Microsoft while enabling telecom enterprises to deploy scalable, production-ready AI solutions faster and at lower operational costs.
