Snapchat has launched a series of lenses on the occasion of Diwali. The new lenses have been created by Snapchat’s Official Lens Creators from the US, Italy, Russia, Lithuania, Morocco and Nepal.

The Snapchat said “From lighting a diyas with your finger or choosing different patterns of Rangoli, admiring floating lanterns in the sky and bringing some glitter and hope to your surroundings, the global OLC community has created a range of experiences that Snapchatters can enjoy wherever they are celebrating Diwali in the world.”

Allia Goldstein from the US has created ‘Diwali Lanterns’ lens which augments Diwali decorations featuring diyas, lanterns and lights. ‘Lighting Up Diwali’ lens by Jimena Depresbiteris features a rangoli design when you raise your eyebrows. Then there’s ‘Be the Light’ by Egidijus Uckuronis where you’re literally the light this Diwali. ‘ARangoli’ by Steve Snygin lets you choose different rangoli designs with different colours, and place them anywhere around you.
