Two leaders from SAP Labs India have been given global AI roles by SAP. Rahul Lodhe has been appointed the Global Head of Engineering for SAP Business AI Copilot Joule, and Sudhakar Singh the Chief AI Security Officer.

Rahul Lodhe has 24 years of experience in his field. He will collaborate with leaders across different business units to integrate Joule seamlessly, and provide technical leadership, set strategic directions, and drive innovation to deliver software solutions. Lodhe will also shape the product vision and strategy, aligning it with market trends in Generative AI, customer needs, and SAP’s overall business goals.

“Our primary objective is to seamlessly integrate Generative AI capabilities across SAP’s extensive portfolio and deliver on board a mandate of 80 per cent of the most used tasks will be managed via Joule. This initiative aims to not only enhance productivity but also redefine how businesses leverage AI to redefine user experience,” Lodhe said.

Sudhakar Singh will head AI security initiatives for SAP Business AI, focusing on cybersecurity, data privacy, AI regulations, and compliance within the SAP Business AI portfolio. He has 20 years of experience in cybersecurity and has been with SAP for the past 12 years. He will also collaborate with global security teams to ensure high standards of security and privacy for customer data.
