NASSCOM has onboarded Srikanth Velamakanni, Co-Founder and Group Chief Executive of Fractal, as its Vice-Chairperson. He has been an Executive Council member of NASSCOM for the last five years.

Srikanth Velamakanni leads the Fractal group of companies. It is an AI provider for Fortune 500 companies that powers enterprise decisions with AI, engineering and design. Its businesses include Crux Intelligence (AI-driven business intelligence), Eugenie.ai (AI for sustainability), Asper.ai (AI for revenue growth management), and Senseforth.ai (conversational AI for sales and customer service). Fractal also incubated Qure.ai, an AI leader in healthcare for detecting Tuberculosis and Lung cancer.

With over 20 years of experience, Velamakanni is passionate about enabling better decision-making with data and AI. He serves as an Independent Director at Metro Brands, BARC India & NIIT Ltd., and as a Non-Executive Chairman at ideaForge. He is also a Founder and Trustee of Plaksha University.

Confirming his appointment, Velamakanni took to his LinkedIn page and wrote, “In the next decade, AI will transform jobs, industries, and countries. This is the next pivotal opportunity for India to lead the world with technology. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a Vice Chair at Nasscom as the country navigates through this transformative moment.”
