Sridhar Kanthadai, who will take on a new job as co-head of Global Payment Rails and Payment VAS, will be succeeded by Kalyan.

Kalyan Madhav has been designated the new head of payments for the Asia Pacific at the international investment bank and financial services holding corporation headquartered in New York City.


Kaustubh Kulkarni, who formerly led India operations, has been named as Kalyan’s replacement. In India, Kulkarni will be the new senior country officer. He will also keep his position as Vice Chair of Asia Pacific.

According to Bloomberg, Kalyan has succeeded Sridhar Kanthadai, who will take over as co-head of Global Payment Rails and Payment VAS, as revealed last month.

Kaustubh Kulkarni has been elevated to Senior Country Officer (SCO) for India in another reorganization and recruitment by JP Morgan. Kulkarni’s appointment to the position will take effect on November 1.

The investment bank and financial services holding firm has hired Reliance Industries’ Navin Wadhwani (RIL). Wadhwani will be the new head of i-banking. For the past ten years, he has led RIL’s merger and acquisition efforts.

From 2002 to 2011, Navin was the managing director of Rothschild India.

In addition, subject to regulatory approval, PD Singh is anticipated to be appointed as temporary CEO of JPMorgan Chase Bank, India, on November 1.
