Intel Corporation has recently strengthened its leadership team in the Asia-Pacific Japan (APJ) and India regions, as part of its strategic transformation efforts. Hans Chuang is now the General Manager of the Sales, Marketing, and Communications Group (SMG) for APJ. Based in Taiwan, Hans will oversee all Intel operations across the Asia-Pacific, focusing on driving revenue growth, nurturing partnerships, and enhancing engagement with the local ecosystem.
Hans, an alumnus of McGill University with an MBA and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of British Columbia, expressed his enthusiasm about leading Intel’s expansion and innovation across the diverse and rapidly growing APJ region. He emphasized the importance of working with partners and maintaining a commitment to an open, secure ecosystem to ensure long-term success.

Further emphasizing its commitment to regional growth, Intel marked India as a standalone region within its SMG division earlier this March to capitalize on the country’s rapid economic expansion. Santhosh Viswanathan has been appointed as VP and MD of the India region. With his extensive background in business and industrial engineering and management, Santhosh aims to enhance customer relations and drive value in the region.
